I'm gonna ignore the star stuff on the right. I don't feel it really adds to what you're looking for here.

For the usual things I expect from you, Your colors are fine and dandy.

SO! lets look at Hotsauce first.

The hands are visible here and I think it's good. And while it can be argued that usually have their arms extended or outstretched, I don't see an issue with it, makes me feel her spell casting is more defensive. The only thing I would have considered changing here was perhaps the hands facing towards each other instead as it seems like she's more prepping a spell as opposed to about to fire it.

I'm totally digging the power effect behind her. ore crackle and sizzle as opposed to a generic power aura The glow effect with the hands is just right. The viewer will know what's coming, and it doesn't distract from the pic overall.

As for Rena:
This looks like more of a stand off as opposed to Rena charging at her, Her hand gripping her weapon looks good. I feel like the use of Rena's left hand is missing here. It would have added to her firm look. Kinda like the Magical Girl pointing at her rival and making a declaration, or indicating that she's ready to react. That said, the only thing really throwing me off here is the white on her outfit. Does she have white anywhere else on her outift?

I feel the speed lines are good here (I like how they have a different color around Hotsauce!) The only other choice I would be looking at here would have been lines going toward Hotsauce. Lines gives me an old school video game feel where the two opposing characters would come respectively from the top and bottom, and that's ultimately what makes both poses work and actually NOT need any changes to be honest.

Good stuff as always man. Keep up the good work.

I really like how your colors and your lines turned out. The red background really does contrast well with the greys and blues. That metallic look on the wand is also fantastic as well as your shading. The fire design is a very good length as well.

Now for the things you should do: First, a little more space should be set between the two. It looks like they are fighting at about... 5-7 feet apart. Sacrificing some of the cape wouldn't be too bad for giving emphasis to the shot. Second, that summoning pose seems off. The hands should be facing in towards the energy as if they were containing the heat and power before firing it at her opponent. Her stance can also be lowered to emphasize her anger and effort of using her magic, leaning forward more.

I'm probably not as good of an artist as you, but I hope this critique helps. ^^
